To restore a save file, you can use the Windows Backup System or Cloud Synchronisation via Ubisoft Connect PC. To use the Windows Backup System, you will need to locate your save files. This folder will be slightly different for every game, but the path will follow the default pattern: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\[Account ID]\[Game ID] If you are unable to locate the folder containing your saves for any reason please contact us. Should you require further troubleshooting, please follow the instructions below for Cloud Synchronisation: • Locate your save files. • Create a backup by right clicking on the folder [Game ID] and choosing Copy. • Paste the files to a safe place on your computer. Having a backup means that if the synchronisation process fails, you will retain the saved progress. • Delete the original save files. • Start your game as normal to automatically activate cloud synchronisation. • Once the game has loaded, check if your progress has been restored. If you succeed in restoring one save file and your progress is still missing, we advise you to check out our article about corrupted save files. Discount codes can be used on most Ubisoft Store orders. They are not valid for: • virtual currency packs. • Ubisoft+ subscription. • publishing products (books, comics, etc.). The codes cannot be used for in-game purchases and may not work in conjunction with existing offers, discounts or with other codes. Only one discount code can be used per order. The codes have an expiry date of three months, and can only be used once. If you are having trouble with redeeming your code, please get in touch, attaching an image of the code and any error you might receive to your case.
To activate the key for your game or content, choose your platform from this list to see the relevant instructions: Ubisoft Connect PC Steam Epic Games Launcher PlayStation 4 PlayStation 5 Xbox One Xbox Series X|S Nintendo Switch Ubisoft Connect PC • Open Ubisoft Connect PC and log in. If you are new to Ubisoft Connect please download it on PC and create an account. • Select the lines icon in the top left of the Ubisoft Connect PC window. • Select Activate a key. • Enter your key in the Activation Code field. • Choose Activate. This will activate the game on your Ubisoft account. Steam You can find out how to redeem your keys on the Steam website. If you already entered a key or never received one, but Steam is still asking for a key, take a look at our guide. Epic Games Launcher • Open the Epic Games launcher and log in. • Select your username, on the bottom left side of your screen. • Choose Redeem Code. • Enter your code and select Redeem. This will activate the game. PlayStation 4 • Log in to your PlayStation Network account or create a new one (online or on your console). • Choose the PlayStation Store icon on the Home Screen. • Go to the Redeem Codes section at the bottom of the menu. • Enter your code, then select Continue. Please note that you will not be able to redeem a PlayStation 5 key on a PlayStation 4 console. PlayStation 5 • Log in to your PlayStation Network account or create a new one (online or on your console). • Choose the PlayStation Store icon on the Home Screen. • Select the Three dots line on the top right of the screen. • Choose Redeem code. • Enter your code, then select Redeem. Please note that you will not be able to redeem a PlayStation 4 key on a PlayStation 5 console. Xbox One • Log in to your Xbox account or create a new one (online or on your console). • Go to the Xbox Store, then Browse games. • Choose Use a code and enter the 25-digit code. An Xbox network download code can only be used once on Xbox One consoles. Xbox Series X|S • Log in to your Xbox account or create a new one (online or on your console). • Go to the Microsoft Store, then select Redeem. • Enter your 25-digit code and choose Check code. You can also redeem the code online. Nintendo Switch You can find out how to redeem your keys or codes on the Nintendo website. To resolve login issues: • Install the latest version of Ubisoft Connect PC. • Launch Ubisoft Connect PC with admin rights. • Make sure that Ubisoft Connect PC is not set to offline mode. • Confirm that the connection is not blocked from your network. To resolve in-game login issues: • Unlink and relink your Xbox Gamertag from your Ubisoft account. • Power cycle your console. • Follow the steps in the connectivity troubleshooting article for your game on our support page.
