Verfügbarkeit von Multiplayer und Onlinediensten
Die Entscheidung, Onlinedienste für ältere Ubisoft-Spiele einzustellen, machen wir uns nie leicht. Mit der Veröffentlichung neuer Spiele schwinden in der Regel auch die Spielerzahlen für ältere Titel, weshalb wir hin und wieder zwangsläufig mit dieser Entscheidung konfrontiert sind. Die Online-Multiplayerdienste für die Titel in der Liste weiter unten wurden abgeschalten. Die Einzelspielerdienste stehen aber weiterhin zur Verfügung. Sämtliche News, Statistiken und anderweitige In-Game-Dienste wurden ebenfalls deaktiviert. Für Spiele, die Units und Herausforderungen im Ubisoft Connect unterstützt hatten, wurden diese ebenfalls deaktiviert. Sie können durch diese Spiele keine Erfahrung oder Units mehr erhalten, wenn Sie die Herausforderungen abschließen. Belohnungen für diese Spiele können weiterhin freigeschaltet werden, jedoch werden Sie diese nicht mehr im Spiel erhalten. Falls das Spiel im Jahr 2020 nicht zu Ubisoft Connect transferiert wurde, werden alle Belohnungen automatisch freigeschaltet. ULCs (freischaltbare Inhalte), wie zusätzliche Karten und Skins werden ebenfalls deaktiviert, was bedeutet, dass Sie nicht länger darauf zugreifen können. Am PC werden ULCs nicht mehr verfügbar sein, auch nicht, wenn Sie die Inhalte zuvor freigeschaltet haben. Auf Konsolen hingegen bleiben sie erhalten, bis Sie die Spielstände zurücksetzen.
