Specialisations in The Division 2
Specialisations offer a unique spin on The Division 2 gameplay and are available once you reach level 30 and World Tier 1, and with the Year 1 Pass. You can choose between multiple specialisations, each with its own Signature Weapon and a Signature Weapon slot, added to your existing loadout. Survivalists Desperate times ask for desperate measures. Survivalists can control their surroundings using traps and status effects. They are equipped with a precision crossbow as their signature weapon to take their targets down, even in the harshest of environments. Demolitionists Sometimes stealth is just not an option. Demolitionists are agents of chaos, focusing on disrupting enemy plans and entrenched positions using a grenade launcher as their signature weapon. Sharpshooters A Specialisation for Agents looking at taking their targets out, without them ever realising what hit them. Sharpshooters can change the tide of a battle from afar using a powerful sniper rifle as their signature weapon. Gunner Accessible through Special Field Research, included in the Year 1 Pass or purchasable on the in-game Store; the Gunner is equipped with the powerful Minigun, which will be a force to be reckoned with on the streets of Washington, D.C. Technician Accessible through Special Field Research, included in the Year 1 Pass or purchasable on the in-game Store; the Technician is equipped with a P-017 Launcher, which fires six missiles to seek out enemies. Firewall Accessible through Special Field Research, included in the Year 1 Pass or purchasable on the in-game Store; the Firewall is equipped with a Flamethrower, which fires a 15 meter arc of flames. You can switch between unlocked specialisations with no restrictions! To activate specialisations, head to the stand next to the Quartermaster at the Base of Operations. Each specialisation comes with an ability tree which contains new skill variants, grenade types and talents that fit the specialisation theme. You can unlock abilities in the specialisation tree using Specialisation Points, awarded for completing invaded missions, Daily Priority missions, Priority Network bounties and Weekly Projects. You can also earn them by levelling up your Field Proficiency. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to contact us!
