Temporary ban in Rainbow Six: Siege

There are a number of actions which can result in a temporary ban being applied in Rainbow Six: Siege.

Team kills

A validated intentional kill of a teammate will activate Reverse Friendly Fire for the duration of the match.

We will continue to track team kills, and may apply sanctions after multiple offences.

The duration of a suspension will be decided at our discretion, on a case-by-case basis.

Disconnecting from the game

Players who disconnect from a ranked game will be temporarily banned and receive a Renown or Rank penalty.

If you encounter any connectivity issues with your game, you may be able to resolve them with our platform-specific troubleshooting:

Breaking the Code of Conduct

The Rainbow Six: Siege Code of Conduct aims to help us keep the game enjoyable for everyone.

We investigate all reports of player misconduct, and may apply a temporary ban if we find that they have violated the Code of Conduct.

Our Dev Blog article contains more information about how we manage in-game toxicity.
