Generating a Microsoft System Information report

Microsoft System Information (MSInfo) reports are useful for collecting information about your operating system and identifying common issues.

To generate the report:

• Open the Run command.
You can do this by holding down the Windows + R keys on your keyboard or searching for Run in your system.
• Type msinfo32 in the dialogue box.
• Click OK or press Enter.
This will open the System Information.
• Click File and select Export... from the drop-down.
• Name your file and make sure it is saved as a text file (.txt).
• Save the file to your Desktop.

We may ask you to attach an MSInfo report to your support case to help us troubleshoot technical problems.

Do not hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
