In the event you lose access to your Ubisoft Account, we will be happy to help you recover it. You can contact us via live chat between 17:00 – 22:00 AET (Mon - Fri) for help with getting back into your account. Please select the scenario that best describes your situation. I am unable to sign in because… I have forgotten my account details. I do not have access to the e-mail address currently associated with my Ubisoft Account. I encounter an error when I attempt to log in to my Ubisoft Account. I believe my Ubisoft Account has been compromised. I need to deactivate 2-Step Verification. I believe 2-Step Verification was enabled on my account without my consent. If you are able to sign in but require further assistance with your account, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We appreciate that sometimes saying goodbye is necessary! If you are sure you would like to permanently close your Ubisoft account: • Head to the Account Information page. • Scroll down to the Close your Ubisoft account section. • Click Close. You may be asked to verify your account at this point if you have not done so previously. • Read through the important information in the pop-up. • Tick the box and click Close my account once you have made sure you are happy with the terms. You will then see another pop-up confirming the 30 day suspension we will place on your account before it is permanently closed. Please note that all linked accounts will be unlinked from your Ubisoft account. As we will not be able to recover the account once it has been closed, we strongly recommend only putting the request in if you are absolutely sure you would like to close your account. Should you change your mind, you can cancel this process during the 30 day suspension period. Does saying goodbye to your account forever sound like too much of a commitment? As an alternative, you could unlink your account from other platforms and unsubscribe from our newsletters. That way, you will stop hearing from us but you will still be able to come back to your account in the future! Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions.
Whether you are experiencing issues with the feature, or have lost access to the device, sometimes it may be necessary to disable it. We strongly recommend reactivating 2-Step verification to help keep your account secure. All you need is a valid verification code or, if you are having trouble generating one, one of your recovery codes. To deactivate 2-Step verification: • Go to the Security page. • In the 2-Step verification section, select the Manage button. • Click Deactivate. • Select Deactivate in the pop-up box. • You will then be asked to log out to save your changes. If you do not have access to your recovery codes or need help with disabling this feature, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Please note that you do not need to have access to your verification or recovery codes to contact us. In the interest of security, we will take you through an alternate Account Ownership Verification process before we make any changes to your account. Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
