Performance Issues in For Honor

For Honor has been optimised to run as fluidly as possible on various systems. If you experience performance issues - low framerate, screen freezing for a very short time, action slowed down - the following steps may help improve the way your game runs:

Check if your PC meets the system requirements for For Honor

If your setup meets the minimum requirements, we recommend running the game with lower graphical settings, as higher presets may strain your system.

If your setup meets the recommended requirements, the game will run smoothly in the vast majority of cases, but specific graphics setting may require more powerful hardware.

The guide contains a set of universal troubleshooting steps that often resolve issues with running the game.

Change the graphics settings

Lowering or turning off certain graphics options, like the resolution, quality or V-sync, can help improve the performance and increase your FPS.
Simply go to the Main Menu, Options, then Graphics and start tweaking!

There is even a handy bar on the top right of the Graphics screen displaying:

•  The amount of VRAM available to your GPU
•  The projected amount of VRAM the settings you choose will require.

Using more than your available VRAM can cause slower performances. This includes SLI/Crossfire setups.

If you are still experiencing performance issues after following these steps, please get in touch.
