Troubleshooting issues with PlayStation Camera and Kinect

If you are having trouble setting up your PlayStation Camera or Xbox One Kinect Sensor correctly:

• Check the camera's placement:
It should be sitting 6 - 9 feet (2 - 3 meters) away from the play area.
Have the camera at least 2 ft (60 cm) off the floor.
Make sure it is close to the edge of the surface it is sitting on.
• Try to limit the number of people and objects in the camera's field of view.
• Ensure there is at least 2 ft (60 cm) of space between players.
• The play area should be well lit, but bright lights directed towards the camera should be avoided.

Please note that if the player is shorter than 3 ft (1 meter), the camera may struggle to pick up their movement and poses.

In case none of the above steps helped, we recommend contacting PlayStation or Xbox respectively as the sensor may require maintenance or replacement.

Please be aware that the camera functionality is not supported on next-generation consoles.
