Recovering your account via text message

In case you lose access to your Authentication app, you now have the option to receive your verification code via text message when you log in.

Please note that a mobile phone number can only be connected to one Ubisoft account at a time.

To set up recovery via text message:

• Go to the Security page of the Account Management website.
• Select Add next to Recovery phone number.
You can still add a phone number to your account by selecting the option from the Private information section of your Account Information page, however you will not be able to use it as a recovery method until you have activated 2-Step verification on your mobile device.
• Enter your phone number.
• Select Add.
• Enter the security number sent to your mobile number.
• Select Submit.

Your recovery number should now be partially displayed in the 2-Step verification section of the Security page and the Private information section of the Account Information page.

To change your recovery number:
• Go to the Security page.
• Select Edit next to Recovery phone number.
• Enter your new phone number.
• Choose Update.
• Enter the security number sent to your mobile number.
• Select Submit.

Every time the phone number in Ubisoft your account changes, you will be notified by email on the address that is associated with your account.

From the Edit page, you can also remove your recovery phone number by navigating to the Remove tab and clicking Remove
