Unable to install the game on the Epic Games Launcher

What can I do if I am prompted to reinstall the game even though it is already installed?

ANSWER:


We are aware of an issue causing players to receive a prompt asking them to reinstall their game even if it is already installed.

This might happen if you previously played the game during a free weekend or owned another version of the game on Uplay. 

To work around this issue, please manually change the installation path using the Locate installed game feature in Uplay to point to where the Epic version is installed. 

Our teams are actively working on a fix to prevent this issue from happening in the future.
