Disabling and enabling the 2-Step Verification on a device

When you enable 2-Step Verification on your smartphone or tablet, the generated codes remain tied to that device. This is to ensure the integrity of this security feature.

If you are using Google Authenticator on Android or iOS, you can transfer your codes to another device.

To set up 2-Step Verification again, please disable the current instance using one of your verification or recovery codes first.

You can then enable it again on your new mobile device or email accountNote that you also have the option to manage trusted devices.

If you are having trouble generating a valid verification code, or have lost access to your recovery codes, please do not hesitate to contact us for help with disabling 2-Step Verification.

Please note that you do not need to have access to your verification or recovery codes to contact us. In the interest of security, we will take you through an alternate Account Ownership Verification process before we make any changes to your account.
