Losing in-game progress

QUESTION:

What can I do if the game isn't saving my progress?

ANSWER:


If you find that your progress is lost after exiting the game, please create an additional folder in the Anno 1602 installation directory called Savegame.

The default installation directory is:
C:\Program Files x86\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Anno 1602\Eng

By adding the Savegame folder, you should end up with this directory: 
C:\Program Files x86\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Anno 1602\Eng\Savegame

You should now be able to save and load your progress.
