Error Code STARLINK-20 in Starlink: Battle for Atlas

QUESTION:

When starting or playing Starlink: Battle for Atlas I get an error code: STARLINK-20​. What does it mean?

ANSWER:


This error means the firmware update has failed. 

If this error occurs for you, please try our platform specific troubleshooting first:  
Once the main troubleshooting has been done, follow the steps below: 

- Ensure that the mount is firmly connected / plugged in and there is nothing blocking the contacts.
Xbox One, Switch: check if your controller's batteries are charged.
PS4: check if the USB cable is damaged.  
- Try running the update again.
Switch: keep the mount close to the Switch console during the update to improve communication reliability and speed.
- If the update continues to fail, and an option to skip the update is available, try to skip it.
