Ubisoft Account Recovery (Text Message)

In case you lose access to your Google Authenticator, you have the option to receive your verification code via text message when you log in. Before you get started, please note that your mobile phone number can only be connected to one Ubisoft account at a time. 

Setting Up Text Recovery

Before you begin, note that text recovery is only available if you've previously established Google Authenticator on your Ubisoft account. Once you've done the preliminary set-up, follow the steps below to enable the text recovery feature: 
  1. Please login to your Ubisoft account through the Account Management website.
  2. Navigate to the Security page.
  3. Select Add next to Recovery phone number.
  4. Enter your phone number.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Enter the security number sent to your mobile number.
  7. Click Submit.

Changing Your Recovery Phone Number

To change your recovery number:
  1. Login to your Ubisoft account through the Account Management website.
  2. Navigate to the Security page.
  3. Select Edit next to Recovery phone number.
  4. Enter your new phone number.
  5. Click Update.
  6. Enter the security number sent to your mobile number.
  7. Click Submit.
 

Removing Your Recovery Phone Number

If you no longer wish to have a recovery phone number associated with your Ubisoft account, you can remove any stored phone numbers entirely by: 
  1. Logging in to your Ubisoft account through the Account Management website.
  2. Navigate to the Security page.
  3. Select Edit next to Recovery phone number.
  4. Navigate to the Remove tab, select Remove
