Error: Not a Valid Win32 Application

To resolve this issue you will first need to check that you are using manufacturer specific drivers for their cd-rom drive.

1. From the desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon and choose Properties.
2. Click on the Device Manager Tab.
3. Double click on the CD-ROM drive.

If the manufacturer name of the CD-ROM drive is not listed you will need to contact your CD-ROM manufacturer to obtain the specific drivers designed for your CD-ROM. Another main cause of this error is not having valid 32-bit CD ROM drivers installed.

To check the drivers on your system, follow these steps:
1. From the desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon.
2. Choose Properties.
3. In this window, look for the sections labeled File System and Virtual Memory.
4. If it says anything other than 32-bit to the right of these sections, then you will need to contact your computer manufacturer to get the proper 32-bit drivers installed.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, check the manufacturer of their CD-Rom drive. In some cases some CD-Rom drives will not read the CD correctly even after updating the drivers. We've seen a particular issue with Matsumi, Matsushita, and Lite-On CD-Rom drives trying to read our disks. To verify that this is the problem, try running the CD on a different CD-Rom drive.
