About Heroes Gameplay How to increase Hero Power The following four methods increase a hero's Power and their actual effectiveness in battle: 1. Hero Level: Increasing a hero's level increases their talent points and Command. 2. Hero Breakthrough: Performing a breakthrough increases the max level and base attributes of a hero. 3. Hero Upgrade: Upgrading a hero increases the level of all their abilities and increases their talent points. 4. Hero Talent: Spending a hero's talent points activates hero talent buffs and unlocks their abilities. Hero Abilities & Talents 1. Abilities and talents of rallying generals and deputy generals will take effect (Offensive talents will take effect on offence; Defensive talents will take effect on defence; Defence attributes will take effect during defence assistance, but will not take effect when attacking or defending Neutral Buildings such as Elemental Tower), each team will use their own team's heroes and talents. 2. Troops-related active or passive abilities and talents will only take effect in battle; Tapping on development-related abilities and passive talents will cause them to take effect. 3. Hero talent abilities will not affect the Power displayed on the troops panel, but will be reflected in the battle report, the hero talent's Power will be added directly to the hero. Being a general or deputy general does not affect the effect of a talent. 4. Attacking monsters grant you EXP regardless of level. However, upon reaching the breakthrough level (e.g. Lv. 10, 20, 30, etc), a hero is unable to gain EXP and level until they perform a breakthrough. 5. The current maximum level for a hero is 60. The Lv. 50 breakthrough is the final breakthrough currently. 6. When assisting defence, hero abilities or talents that buff buildings, such as Defence Towers and City Walls, will not take effect. Eruina's Talent: Despair 1. When there are multiple Eruina in a rally, each Eruina will inflict a decrease in Morale of the enemy troops. This value is dependent on the amount of Force under each Eruina's command and the total number of enemy troops. 2. In the same battle, there is a limit to how much Morale can be decreased. Ishi's Ability: Conscription 1. "Training capacity increases..." in the description refers to Creature Recruitment. 2. "Training speed increases..." in the description is reflected at the portrait. 25% Basic Army Expansion 25% Basic Army Expansion increases the base amount of a queue. Expedition and Rally Limit Expedition population limit refers to the maximum amount of troops a hero can take on the expedition. Rally limit refers to the maximum amount of troops in a guild rally. Talent: Pure Ranged Additional Bonus This means the team in battle will only gain additional bonus if it is make up of purely ranged troops. If there are melee troops in the team, the talent will not take effect, even if all the melee troops die during the battle. Does defending a banner count as defending a city? No, it does not. Abilities related to defending a city will not take effect Reem's Ability: Warning Range When using Reem's Warning Range ability to assist defence, buffs that affect buildings, such as the Defence Tower and City Wall, will not take effect. Hero Upgrade 1) Things to note when using General Tokens 1. You have to unlock a hero before upgrading them using General Tokens. 2. For heroes obtained through VIP Pack purchases, e.g. Rosalie and Catherine, you can only upgrade them using their respective hero shards. General Tokens will not work. 3. When you recruit a duplicate hero that you already own, you will receive 10 shards of that hero instead. 2) Things to note about Catherine and Rosalie 1. Obtained through VIP Pack purchase. (Enter the VIP interface below the portrait to view the content of each pack.) 2. Not upgradeable using Legendary Tokens. (Both Rosalie and Catherine obtained through VIP Packs cannot be upgraded using Legendary Tokens.) 3) Upgrading Rosalie Upgrading Rosalie from 1-star to 10-star requires 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 70, 90, 110, 130, 150 tokens for each grade respectively. A total of 700 tokens is needed to upgrade to 10-star. *Upgrading epic heroes require less tokens than legendary heroes. Hero Breakthrough Attacking monsters grant you EXP regardless of level. However, upon reaching the breakthrough level (e.g. Lv. 10, 20, 30, etc), a hero is unable to gain EXP until they perform a breakthrough. Hero Limited-Time Pack 1. When you obtain Legendary heroes (Ishi, Eruina, Shiva, Crag Hack, Shiva, Ranleth, etc), level up them to Lv. 30 or 40, or upgrade them to 5-star for the first time, limited-time packs will be available for purchase. 2. When you level up VIP heroes (Catherine and Rosalie) to Lv. 30 or 40, or upgrade them to 5-star, limited-time packs will be available for purchase.

Ubisoft reserves the right to remove any and all content published by a User without prior warning or notification. We strongly advise you not to give personal or account information to anyone. This includes information that can be used to identify you (social security number, telephone number, physical address, etc.) or information that may be used to compromise your account (personal email address, answers to your security questions, etc.). Please note that a representative of Ubisoft will never ask you for your password. Code of Conduct: When you play Might & Magic: Era of Chaos, you must respect other Users and their user rights. The following points must be upheld by everyone, and will be enforced by the Ubisoft staff: • Any suspected breach of the Code of Conduct or Terms of Use will lead to investigation by Ubisoft staff. Ubisoft reserves the right to suspend, ban, alter, or delete any User’s account without prior warning or notice. • When using the services provided by Ubisoft, Users may not engage in or encourage any illegal behavior or communications concerning such. • Users will follow all instructions given to them by the Ubisoft staff. Non-compliance of the User regarding any request made by a Ubisoft employee will be considered as a breach of the Code of Conduct, and may lead to account suspension or revocation. • The User will respect the rules detailed in this Code of Conduct when using the services offered by Ubisoft and the Might & Magic: Era of Chaos game. The following list of forbidden conduct gives examples of unacceptable behavior, but should not be considered exhaustive. Forbidden Conduct: • It is forbidden to harass or bully other players via verbal or written communications. Ubisoft will not tolerate any form of harassment and may be obligated to suspend or ban any player account should harassment occur. • It is forbidden to publish pornographic or sexually explicit content via the mediums made available to the player by Ubisoft. • Any language or content deemed illegal, dangerous, threatening, abusive, obscene, vulgar, defamatory, hateful, racist, sexist, ethically offensive or constituting harassment is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to, spamming, advertising or soliciting other products. • Exploitation of any new or known glitches or bugs which provide an unfair advantage over other players is forbidden and may result in character stats and progression resets, account suspension or revocation. • Any attempt to edit, corrupt or change game or server code is strictly prohibited. Any such behavior will result in the immediate cancellation of the account, and may even give rise to personal liability and/or penal penalties. • Use of third-party hacking, cheating or botting clients is strictly prohibited. Usernames: The following rules clarify the types of names that you may not use: • You may not use a name that is contrary to the Code of Conduct. This includes the use of names of a hateful, racist, defamatory, ethnically offensive, obscene, vulgar or sexually explicit nature, as well as any other offensive wording. • You may not use names that lead to the harassment or slander of other users. • You may not use the name of any Ubisoft employee. • You may not use a name linked to a terrorist organization or activity. • You may not use any name that breaks any of the aforementioned rules via the association of the first name and surname. • You may not use a name containing spelling mistakes or written in such a way as to break one of the aforementioned rules. Account Security: The User alone is responsible for the security of their account, including protecting their system and account from being compromised. Ubisoft does not guarantee compensation for any damages caused by fraudulent use of an account. Only the results of the investigation can determine the necessary action. Any act of account piracy or theft will be punished and may give rise to personal liability or penal penalties for the guilty party. Customer Service: Customer Service is there to help you with any problem you may come across in the game. You can contact them via the game or the site, in the support area. Here is a non-exhaustive list of what Customer Services can do for you: • You will receive a quick reply to your questions and problems, depending on the workload of the Customer Services department. • We will do our utmost not to intervene in or interfere with the game unless it is absolutely necessary during our work. • Any incident that may be interpreted as breaking the rules will be subject to further investigation. The benefit of the doubt will be given to the User before any action is taken. • All sanctions will be applied as quickly as possible, depending on the seriousness of the breach, the circumstances and your account history. • All correspondence between the User and Customer Services is private. It will not be divulged to other users. Disciplinary Policy: Ubisoft wishes to offer Users a welcoming game environment, both during gameplay and in the forums. However, a breach of the Code of Conduct may occur. When this happens, Customer Services will investigate further and will make every attempt to be just and fair with the people involved. Depending on the seriousness of the breach and the players' history, Customer Services may decide to take the following action: • It is possible that there will be no sanctions. • A warning may be sent to the player who has committed the fault. In this case, they will be notified by mail box and details of the reasons for the warning and the action taken will be noted on their account. • A player may be suspended for a period of time ranging from a few hours to a few days or permanent ban. The penalty will be noted on their account with detailing the facts, the penalty and the period for which the game will be blocked for them. • A player may have their game account terminated. This means that their access to the game will be blocked until an unspecified date. The player will receive detailing by mail box the reasons for the penalty and the facts surrounding it. What can I use to log into the game? Android users can log in with Facebook and Google Play. Apple users can log in with Facebook and Game Center. You can still bind your Facebook account after binding your Google Play or Game Center account to the game. Binding your Facebook account lets you log into the game on different devices. If you don't select a platform when you first log into the game, you will get a local guest account by default for character creation and game records. Is a guest account safe? If your save data is attached to the guest account, we recommend binding your account to any one of the following platforms: Facebook, Google Play, Game Center. Clearing your device cache or uninstalling the game while on a guest account will likely erase all saved game progress, which cannot be recovered. Will I keep my progress in-game if I uninstall the game or change devices? If you log in using or bind a Facebook, Google Play, or Game Center account, your save data will not be lost. When changing devices or reinstalling, all you need to do is log into the game with the relevant account to sync your latest saved data.If you're using a guest account, the save data is likely to be lost and unrecoverable. Standard stages produce: rune material, unit EXP, diamonds, some unit tokens, spell scrolls, and more. Players can also get chest rewards by getting max stars in each chapter and sideline stage. Rewards contain some unit tokens, diamonds, coins, and more. How do I earn coins in Might & Magic?1. Complete "Daily Missions" for coins. 2. Kill more dwarves for more coins in "Dwarven Treasury". 3. Complete as many stages as possible in "Campaign" to earn more coins. 4. Spend diamonds for coins through Hand of Midas. 5. Complete standard or Underground stages for coins. 6. Sign in for coins. 7.
