The inventory in Assassin's Creed: Origins works differently from previous games of the series. Weapons and pieces of gear are managed in the Gear menu. In the Inventory menu you'll find an overview of your Drachmas (currency), your crafting resources, arrows, tools, quest items, papyri, animal goods and trinkets.
You can access the Inventory from the game menu by navigating to the tab Inventory.
A little orange exclamation mark next to the Inventory tab will show you that you have new items in your inventory. You can highlight an item for more information.
