Photo Mode in Starlink: Battle for Atlas

The Photo Mode in Starlink: Battle for Atlas allows you to capture shots of beautiful views or interesting moments in-game in quality pictures without the user interface in the way. 

The mode can be activated by pausing the game using the following button: 
Menu (Xbox One
Options (PS4
+ (Switch)
Esc (PC)

You can then access the mode from Options Gameplay > Photo Mode on consoles or via Options > Photo Mode on PC. 

Alternatively, you can directly enable the mode in-game by holding the button:
View (Xbox One
Share (PS4
- (Switch)
F3 (PC)

If you want to disable the Photo Mode shortcut, head to Options Gameplay and set the Enable Mode Shortcut option to Off.

When the mode is active, you can move the camera around freely and zoom in and out while being in the Composition mode. In the Edit mode, you are able to choose between a number of option to edit your picture and make it more interesting. For example, you can change the colour saturation, adjust the depth of field or add a vignette to your shot.

Before capturing your screenshot, you have the option to hide the user interface by pressing A (Xbox One) / X (PS4) / A (Switch) / Alt (PC)

This mode is also available in co-op but only Player 1 is able to access it. However, Player 2's starship will remain in the picture. 

Your shots will be saved locally on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4. If you play on Xbox One, your photos will be stored on your online storage. 

The local save locations are: 
PS4 - Settings > Storage > System Storage > Capture Gallery > Starlink: Battle for Atlas
Switch - Home menu > Album 
PC - Pictures > Uplay > Starlink: Battle for Atlas
