Information about BattlEye anti-cheat

BattlEye is an anti-cheat system which protects our games and their players from hacking, cheating and other forms of attacks. The anti-cheat software is automatically installed with any Ubisoft game that supports BattlEye. In order to play a BattlEye-enabled game, it must be present on your system. You will not be able to launch the game if you have uninstalled it. The anti-cheat will launch when you start the game and only be active when you are playing a BattlEye-enabled game. If BattlEye detects cheating on a player's system, this is a breach of the Code of Conduct and their account will be sanctioned. The error message a player will see if they receive a sanction will depend on why they have been sanctioned. Ghost Recon Breakpoint includes an anti-cheat solution because we strongly believe in providing a fair and welcoming environment to everyone. Where can I find the Code of Conduct of the game? Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint Code of Conduct is available on the forums. The Code of Conduct is supplemental to Ubisoft Terms of use. Please refer to such terms for additional conduct rules. Impact of a sanction in Ghost Recon Breakpoint Depending on the severity of the sanction, you might get a mute from voice chat and text chat, a ban from public matchmaking services or both. When a mute is applied, you will no longer be able to speak via voice chat or text chat in game, temporary or permanently. When a ban is applied, it means you are temporary or permanently banned from using public matchmaking services, either in Player versus Enemy (PvE), Player versus Player (PvP), or both. Public matchmaking services include: • Public coop mode, social hub access and raids in PvE. • Custom and quickplay in pvp. You will still be able to play in coop with your friends from your Ubisoft Connect friends list. Only public matchmaking will be affected by a ban. Can a player be banned on the first offence? We take cheating, exploiting bugs and trying to gain an unfair advantage by circumventing game mechanics very seriously. We will take immediate disciplinary action against any account involved in such activities, up to and including a permanent ban for the first offence. On other offenses (outside of cheating), you might get a fair warning first. If we notice any other breach of our code of conduct, we will follow up with taking actions. What is deemed a cheat? We consider all modifications or software allowing you to benefit from an unfair advantage towards other players unacceptable and subject to banning. This includes but is not limited to: • Cheats or Hacking • Aimbots and triggerbots • Attempts to modify client, saves or BattlEye software • Trainers • Data Mining • Stream manipulation How can I appeal a ban? You can appeal a ban by contacting us. Our agents will carefully review your case and notify you of the decision. Depending on the result of this analysis, the sanction will be either lifted or maintained. How do you detect cheating? What is BattlEye? In Ghost Recon Breakpoint, we set up a variety of solutions to detect cheats or unauthorised modifications of the game, BattlEye being the primary one. This non-intrusive solution operates in real time to block the usage of third party software or changes that could provide an unfair advantage to the player. BattlEye will be installed along with Ghost Recon Breakpoint and will not share any personal or commercial information. How can I make sure not to be banned? To avoid a ban while playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint or any other game, we highly recommend you to play only on trusted machines. Use caution when installing any 3rd party software that could have an impact on the game or the BattlEye client. What is a temporary ban? For violations of the code of conduct that are not related to cheating you may receive a temporary ban preventing you from accessing public matchmaking services for a period up to 14 days. Any subsequent offence might lead to stricter consequences, e.g. a longer or permanent ban. How do I report a suspected cheater or a toxic player? Other banning or warning reasons Any language or content deemed illegal, dangerous, threatening, abusive, obscene, vulgar, defamatory, hateful, racist, sexist, ethically offensive or constituting harassment is forbidden. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve and maintain the security of player accounts, some transactions may be referred for a risk assessment by our automated security system. The process may take up to 24 hours and once the transaction has been approved, the in-game currency will be credited to your account. To ensure your future transactions are approved, please: • Never share your credentials with third parties. • Check that you can afford the transaction before placing an order. • Avoid multiple purchase attempts if the first transaction has been declined. Please note that trying to place orders repeatedly after your first transaction was refused, or refunding the transaction via your service provider while it is being processed may lead to sanctions. If you have not received your items after 24 hours and have not heard from us in that time, please do not hesitate to contact us, attaching your proof of purchase to the case.
In-game purchase not delivered

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve and maintain the security of player accounts, some transactions may be referred for a risk assessment by our automated security system. If your purchase is referred, you will receive an in-game notification, and an e-mail with more information will be sent to the address associated with your Ubisoft account. Please note that this only applies to purchases made on PC versions of the game. Console purchases have a grace period of 24 hours to allow for first party processing.
