Replacement Real Tone cable
In all circumstances we ask customers to first try the point of purchase if your cable appears to be faulty. If you are within your 28 day warranty period you should be entitled to a trouble free replacement from the store you purchased the cable from. If you are not able to replace your cable at your point of purchase you can arrange a replacement via Ubisoft Customer Services. Please click to submit your request, if you don't have a Ubisoft account already you will be required to create a Ubisoft account to submit your support ticket, we ask you to use the following options to speed up the time needed to start the replacement process: Product: Select Rocksmith from the product drop-down list. Question: Enter a description of the problem including any troubleshooting you have attempted. Once we have the above information we will contact you and advise you how to proceed with the replacement. Before proceeding with the steps above, please see this article to help determine if you have a defective cable.

Delayed notes and out of sync audio playing Rocksmith
In order to resolve this issue please see the flyer included in your game box, this gives you recommended Audio/Video configuration options. If you are still encountering an issue, please try the steps below: 1. Access the main menu of the game by pressing the "Start" button. 2. Please scroll through the icons and select "Options". 3. Choose "Settings Audio and Video". 4. Select "Delay Correction Video". 5. Press to confirm and follow the instructions on the screen. Once done, exit by pressing the "back" button until you get to the main menu again. Rocksmith will now save your new settings.

Faulty / Defective Real Tone cable for Rocksmith
To help determine if your Real Tone cable is defective you can connect your cable and guitar to your PC to perform a simple test. Whether you have the game on Xbox 360, PS3 or PC you can follow the procedure below, all you need is access to a PC or laptop with a USB 2.0 port. Please read on for details: 1. Switch on your PC and connect your guitar to your USB port using the official Real Tone cable. 2. Click on Start, Accessories and then open Sound Recorder If you are using Windows XP you will find the Sound Recorder under Accessories, Entertainment. 3. Click on 'Start Recording' and start playing some notes on your guitar. Once you stop the recording (just a couple of seconds will do), save the recording to your system. 4. The final step is to simply play back the recording in any media player software to ensure the sound can be heard. Remember to make sure you have your speakers on before playing back the file. Accessing Multiplayer mode in Rocksmith
Rocksmith supports two players that can play at the same time on one system. In order to do this, you will need two controllers, two 6-string electric guitars and two Real Tone cables. 1. At the main menu of the game, scroll to the right and select Multiplayer. 2. When you get to the Multiplayer screen, Player 1 should already be logged in and ready to go. 3. Turn on the second controller and press Start to add the second player. Follow the on screen prompts for your play style, each player can adjust their personal play style settings.
