In older versions of the program, there is an asterisk (*) in front of the file name. If you don't replace the asterisk (*) with an actual name, the game will not save. In the field where *.rvn is listed, replace the asterisk (*) with any name you choose (i.e. Save1). Once you give the file a name, it should save.
