It's possible your save data has become corrupted, the game will generally get stuck at this point if the autosave was interrupted at any point. Be careful to only turn off your console or game when the autosave symbol is not showing. Autosaves will be indicated by a small animated box in the bottom right of the screen.

To avoid this happening to you, we recommend quitting back to the main menu prior to turning off your console / quitting back to the desktop (PC).
